You’re invited: live webcast on long-form storytelling tonight, 7pm

What’s the future of long-form storytelling? Can new technologies help revitalize the form? Find out by participating in Long-form Storytelling in a Short Attention-Span World during a live webcast tonight, 3/16, at 7pm. The panel discussion features Frontline series senior producer Raney Aronson-Rath; Ira Glass, host/producer of PBS’s This American Life; David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker; and Stephen Engelberg, managing editor of ProPublica. Go to and submit questions via Twitter using the hashtag #LFSA. The event, hosted by online newsroom ProPublica, is being held at the New School’s Tishman Auditorium in New York City. The panel also includes Alison Stewart, co-host of PBS’s Need to Know, who will moderate the discussion.

We just heard about this today; we hope it is not too late for anyone interested to participate.
