Join us Thursday evening, September 29 from 7-9pm, as we present a sneak peak at Prohibition, the latest film from Ken Burns and Lynn Novick.
After the preview, we hope you’ll stay for a rivoting panel presentation to explore the current relevance of this historic era. Panelists will be Francis G. Couvares, Amherst College’s E. Dwight Salmon Professor of History and American Studies and Chair of American Studies, Don Robinson, Smith College Professor Emeritus, who has taught about the American presidency and comparative Constitutional systems and writes a monthly column on politics and culture for the Daily Hampshire Gazette, and Thomas Kokonowski, Esq., Litigation Attorney in Northampton.
